Hello and welcome to FASDIU
Enterprises. FASDIU is an acronym for "from a shuffled deck in use,"
the title of my first set of lecture notes. Those notes (and the FASDIU
II notes that followed) feature magical routines with playing cards
that may be performed with any deck, anytime - no complicated set-ups,
gaffed cards, or memorized decks. It's not that I'm opposed to the use
of large set-ups, gaffs, or memorization. I'll use those methods in a
New York minute with no regrets! However, 99% of the card magic I
perform is spectator-interactive and I'm loathe to hand my audience a
deck that contains a stack that I want to preserve or a gaff . So, many
years ago I began using and constructing powerful and/or entertaining
routines that may be performed with a borrowed, shuffled deck. I use
almost all of the routines in the ...from a shuffled deck in use... and
FASDIU II notes in social settings, from behind the bar, at trade
shows, while strolling, and in more formal close-up shows. Of course, I
would invite you to do the same!
To the left you will see a few links
that will help you navigate this web site. The Latest and Greatest link
will always include the most recent releases from FASDIU Enterprises, currently
the Side Steal DVD. To see a promo for the DVD click
HERE. The FASDIU Programs link
describes my lecture and the ACME Card Magic Workshop, a hands-on
workshop in which attendees learn strong, entertaining card magic that
requires little or no sleight-of-hand. The Product Line link leads to
descriptions of the various books, lecture notes, media, and gimmicks
that I provide for sale at lectures and via this site. Those products
are available through the Secure Ordering Page link. You may safely use
your credit card for purchases using this page. Next is the Schedule
link, which describes where I'll be and when. Hopefully it will help
our paths cross in the future. And finally, there is a Contact
Information link listing the various ways to contact me with any
questions about the products and programs I provide. Or just contact me
to talk magic.
Thanks for stopping by and I hope you
enjoy browsing around the site.
